		<description>I had no idea you were a teacher in Japan, although that would explain a few things! I am particularly pleased with my night shots this time around so I&#039;ll let you know once I&#039;ve processed the photos rather than just quickly uploading them to Flickr and moving on. Certainly got a lot of catching up to do once I&#039;m home.

Kyoto was awesome stuff but everything is bit swirly in my head at the moment so I&#039;ll have something more coherent soon!</description>

I lived in Kanazawa for awhile but I didn&#039;t have the talent to do the place justice by lens. That Kanazawa by night with the sakura picture is particularly breathtaking at this resolution, so I may have to bother you about obtaining that as a desktop somehow.

Also Takayama. I had students who were from that area always talking about how great the skiing is and that photo certainly adds to their case.
